The Reset pop-up menu provides convenient access to frequently used tools and utilities.

If the Element Selection tool is active, some of the items in the menu are context-sensitive — that is, they operate on the element at the pointer location and/or on the selected element(s). Here are some of the more common menu items:

• If you right-click an element without a link, you can select Add Link.

• If you right-click an element with a link attached to it, you can select Open Link, Edit Link, or Remove Link.

• If you right-click in a view window, you can choose Select Links > All, Select Links > Valid, or Select Links > Invalid.

• Selecting Open View Attributes dialog opens the dialog.

• Selecting Clip Volume allows you to select Create, Enable in Active View, Show Clip Element, Hide Clip Element, or Clear Active Clip Volume.

The menu pops up when the Reset button is either clicked or pressed and held as determined by the Reset Pop-up Menu preference in the Input category of the Preferences dialog (Workspace > Preferences).

If the Reset Pop-up Menu preference is set to the default, Press and Hold, the time interval during which the Reset button must be pressed and held in order to access the menu is determined by the Hold Delay preference, also in the Input category.

The Reset pop-up menu can be changed by customizing context menus in the Customize dialog.
